Paint protection – PPF film
PPF film is one of the best car protection methods currently available on the market. The main advantages include high resistance to scratches, chipping and abrasions occurring e.g. in car parks. Unlike protective coatings, the film can be used to protect either the entire car or some selected components that are most vulnerable to damage.
PPF film is:
- the best paint protection method on the market today;
- invisible to the naked eye;
- 10-year guarantee;
- regenerates with the application of heat;
- protects against severe scratches and chips.
Minor scratches or chipping? Now you can prevent them. Car protection films are an effective method that is gaining more and more supporters. But paint protection is only one of their advantages. They also help to change the appearance of the car. Which components of the car body can be protected with protective film, and what visual effect can they produce?
Many a car owner has learned how easily paint can be damaged. Despite the fact that modern cars are manufactured using the latest technologies, paintwork is still a delicate component. UV radiation, bird droppings and road salt all have a very negative effect on the appearance of the paint. In addition to this, there are minor scratches and chips that are quite common in daily use. The good news is that car protection films effectively help prevent this sort of damage.
Key advantages of PPF films
Of course, the most important advantage of car protection films is that they help prevent paint chips or minor scratches. The car protection films that we use have a thickness of 180 microns or more. Such a layer perfectly protects the painted surface of the car. The PPF film will self-heal any scratches (even large ones) with a light heat application to the film’s surface, which means damaged PPF regenerates very easily. As the film has regenerative properties, scratches disappear very quickly and easily when heat is applied.
Contrary to what you might think, car protection films remain invisible to the eye. What is more, they are very easy to remove without any risk of damage to the paintwork. It is therefore a fully reversible procedure with no risk of damage to the paintwork.
Car protection films – changing the colour of the car body
Colour-changing films are an ideal solution for those who are interested in changing the appearance of their car. However, it is worth noting that such a method of colour change is definitely cheaper and faster; and most importantly, the coloured film can be easily removed at any time. How far can such changes go? PPF and vinyl films can be used not only to change the colour of the entire car body, but can also be used to tint lights, make decorative stripes, and wrap the roof or chrome stripes. You can therefore choose a radical change in the appearance of the entire car body or limit yourself to some selected components in order to introduce a new feature.
We offer over 500 film colours to choose from. Such an impressive range will allow every customer who visits our VCentrum Detailing Department located at 69/71 Powsińska St. in Warsaw to choose the perfect colour.
Car protective films – which components can be protected?
As is commonly known, some components of the car body are slightly more exposed to damage (e.g. bumpers or wings), while others are slightly less exposed (e.g. the roof). For this reason, we offer three variants for wrapping cars with PPF film:
- Bikini – front bumper, part of the bonnet, part of the front wings and side mirrors
- Full front – front bumper, whole bonnet, whole front wings, side mirrors, door handle recesses, headlights and boot compartment
- Full car – the whole surface of the car
