A new power box with a special controller interfering with the operation of the new powerful turbochargers enabled the G63 to achieve 800 horsepower and 1,000 nm of torque. This way the G-Class got a new designation, i.e. BRABUS G800. This is one of the most powerful versions of the G-Class, featuring excellent performance which we decided to check by taking measurements:
- 0-100 kph – 3,9s
- 100 – 200kph – 13,6s
- 0 – 200kph – 17,5s
Of course, if you have such a powerful version, you must not fail to equip it with a matching exhaust, so we fitted a new Brabus exhaust system to be able to bring out the excellent sound of the V8 unit. The exhaust also features electronically adjustable valves that allow it to be set in either of the two modes, ‘coming home’ or ‘sport.’
BRABUS RIDE CONTROL
We have also made changes to the suspension system by replacing it with BRABUS Ride Control which allows the car to respond more quickly and precisely. Using the coilover adjustment, you can adjust the height of the suspension by 45mm without losing comfort or handling characteristics, and the entire system is connected to the Drive Select control system which is responsible for selecting settings related to the steering, suspension and drive.
WIDESTAR
The WIDESTAR body kit has significantly widened the G800 thanks to which the car looks sportier and bulkier. In addition, it received several other attachments:
- carbon bonnet (hood) cover;
- carbon spare wheel cover;
- rear wing;
- sports bumper package – carbon trim with LED lighting
MONOBLOCK PLATINUM Z
We have fitted the G800 with new exclusive 23” Monoblock Platinum Z wheels. Made from the highest quality materials, they not only look great on the car, but also improve the handling characteristics and are fully compatible with the software in the car.
HYISCINTH RED
Among our designs so far, the G800 is distinguished by the individual two-tone paint job. The WIDESTAR body kit remains black while the other components of the bodywork are a unique red shade – Hyacinth Red
