The technical inspection has to be done simply well, i.e. precisely, qualitatively and with adherence to all the procedures so that breakdowns on the road are avoided. The car must be safe and always ready to drive. Regular technical inspections are not only a necessity, but above all a means of ensuring peace of mind and relaxation on the road. The Vehicle Testing Centre at VCentrum in Warsaw is a professional place where we will expertly carry out technical inspections of all models of cars, motorbikes and other motor vehicles of any vintage.
At the VCentrum Vehicle Testing Centre we perform technical inspections of
- passenger cars;
- trucks with a maximum permissible weight up to 3.5 t;
- motorcycles;
- agricultural tractors;
- vehicles imported from abroad;
- LPG vehicles;
- taxi vehicles;
- driving instructor cars.
Inspection procedure at our Vehicle Testing Centre
In compliance with the current Polish legislation, the place where vehicles are inspected must be a licensed testing centre. At the Vehicle Testing Centre at VCentrum in the Warsaw district of Mokotow we have modern diagnostic equipment and the necessary licences, permits and certificates.
During the inspection, we are obliged by law to check the body, chassis and drivetrain. In the first place, we get to the headlights and check how they work and how they are positioned. We assess the condition of the bodywork and glass. Cracks, chipping or rusted bodywork can reduce the safety of the driver and passengers on the road. Next, we check the condition of the tyres, brakes and shock absorbers. Here, too, deviations from the norm can lead to the vehicle not being approved as roadworthy. In the next inspection stage, we analyse the operation of the engine. On the one hand, we check the exhaust emissions (and smoke plume in the case of diesel engines); on the other, the car is tested for leaks of operating fluids and the leaks in the exhaust system.
If the car passes all the tests, the inspection ends with a positive opinion. By confirming the roadworthiness of the car we are responsible for your safety. In the case of technical shortcomings, we will try to repair the defects immediately. If more serious failures are detected, the staff of the Vehicle Testing Centre will refer your car to our Service Centre with a list of all defects. Your car will then be authorised to be used in road traffic for a period of 14 days so that you can return for a recheck once the defects have been rectified.

If the inspection reveals that a component, e.g. headlights, brakes or suspension, needs to be repaired, we will do our best to take care of it at VCentrum Service right away, or we will make an appointment for you as soon as possible. The purpose of this is to ensure that the roadworthiness certificate of your car is valid at all times. In the case of new cars, you only have to visit our testing centre 3 years after the purchase, then after 2 years, and then every year. On the other hand, if you have an older car or a taxi, a driving instructor cars or an LPG car, you should visit the Vehicle Testing Centre once a year.
